Googke Home - Trigger custom script to ask user a question

I’ve got Google Home set up to play notifications via TTS which is all working.

Is it possible to expand on this notification so that Google Home asks the user a question and stores the response?

I don’t know is if there is a way to trigger a custom action/intent by a script from HASS.

I remember a while back the was a proof of concept where they broadcast a command to Alexa that was outside the range on human hearing and Alexa would respond. To the user it would sound like Alexa initiated the conversation.

Is there any other way to do this, even if it requires coding
