Google Assistant for multiple users

Hi,
I currently run HA in docker (v0.79) and use my Google Home to voice command some of my lights.
At the moment everyone can give the commands, we have not setup users in GH.
Will that still work once I upgrade to 0.8x and GA requires the OAuth authentication?


the instructions seem to suggest I need to enable all users. The kids don’t really have a google account.

Any insights?

You shouldn’t have a problem. My wife issues commands to mine no problem and I use the component integration with OAuth and 2FA.
