Hey guys!
I hope you are all doing super well!
I’ve been receiving, since months now, these error messages from Google everytime that an entity changes state: Request for https://homegraph.googleapis.com/v1/devices:reportStateAndNotification failed: 404
Wanting to remove them, I’ve read a bit and decided to re-create my google-assistant setup.
New project on the google project console and new settings in my configuration.yaml.
Unfortunately, the problem remains!
I’ve read that this had to do with HA sending states for non-sync devices.
I can guarantee that after asking google, successfully, to sync my devices much time, the issue continues.
I also enabled debug logs for this component, and this what I get.
2020-09-01 16:05:30 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.google_assistant.http] Request for https://homegraph.googleapis.com/v1/devices:reportStateAndNotification failed: 404
2020-09-01 16:05:30 DEBUG (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.google_assistant.http] Response on https://homegraph.googleapis.com/v1/devices:reportStateAndNotification with data {'requestId': '8a67728a1c984a5983d7b102b04d4c7a', 'agentUserId': '91ab72c47ad346178909cb28f1c4c345', 'payload': {'devices': {'states': {'switch.lavalamp_bedroom': {'online': True, 'on': True}}}}} was {
"error": {
"code": 404,
"message": "Requested entity was not found.",
"status": "NOT_FOUND"
}
}
Be reassured that those entities exist in Google home, I can toggle them from there with no issue.
My question is, did anyone ever encountred this? And if yes, how can I solve it?
P.s Nabu Casa is NOT an option. I went to HA to keep everything that I could local and using their cloud would go against that
