Hi,
Does anybody know how to setup Google Assistant integration for multiple separate Home Assistant instances, so that the Google speakers can control the HA devices in the respective locations?
I have a Home Assistant setup for one location - let’s call it Home #1.
I’ve subscribed to Nabu Casa’s Cloud, primarily to get Google Assistant integration up easily - that works fine, and the Google Home speakers in that home can control my HA devices there.
I’m setting up Home Assistant for a second location - let’s call it Home #2.
I’ve setup a second subscription to Nabu Casa’s Cloud on a different email address (apparently this is the only workaround, until Nabu Casa supports multiple instances - Nabu Casa single account to manage multiple instances · Issue #235 · NabuCasa/hass-nabucasa · GitHub). I’m trying to link this to Google Assistant again - however, Home Assistant keeps saying in the interface, I need to link it up to the Google Home skill - but then when I click the link it says it’s already done…
When I click the link to “Activate the Home Assistant Cloud skill”, it simply takes me to this page:
And if I use a Google Home device in Home #2, and issue a command like “Ok Google, turn on all the lights” - it simply turns on all the lights in Home #1…
So yes - has anybody gotten Google Assistant integration working with two separate locations?
Either through the Nabu Casa cloud, or via the manual Google Assistant integration?
Thanks,
Victor
