Google calendar autorization issue (403)

Just tried to follow the setup process on the Home Assitant site, but receive this error after entering the
code from the notification in home assistant, and selecting my account… Any ideas? Followed the
configuration process 100% https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/calendar.google/

## 403: access_denied

The developer hasn’t given you access to this app. It’s currently being tested and it hasn’t been verified by Google. If you think you should have access, contact the developer

I have the same issue, maybe the authentication process has changed?

You need to go to the OAuth settings on the left side in your developers console. Then publish your app so that it goes from “test” to “production”.

Where? I don’t see anything like that? Never mind.

Many thanks!

What if I do not want to publish my app? I want to use it myself, and myself only. I don’t want others to get access to my data!

This does not give access to your data.

Then how are others going to use my app?

Hi, I’m not following the question.

What this is doing is allowing you to publish the oauth consent page. It allows other people to give your app (your consent page) access to /their/ data. However that won’t happen since only you have your oauth client id and secret.

Ah, I think I get it now. I’m not really an OAuth expert, to be honest…
