Since a day or two all commands from google home take about 5/6 seconds to execute. After saying the command there is a instant confirmation but the four lights from the Google Home Mini light up after a 6 seconds to “run” the command.
This is one al 8 GH mini’s in my home. No config changes on my side, rebooted HA but no change.
Did some more testing and the delay is also happening when controlling the Hue lights. My Hue Bridge is paired directly to Google Assistant, so it seems it’s not related to Home assistant.
I also have my Magic Home led controllers directly paired to Google Assistant, and those controllers are responding instantly.
So for example in my Bedroom, after a lights on voice command the Magic Home light strip reacts instantly and the Hue lights take 5 seconds to turn on.
Probably a Google issue…
Fixed it, was so easy. Just unlinking and linking again my HUE and Nabu Casa accounts in Google Assistant did the trick.

Was a bit hesitate about loosing any settings but all devices ended up in the correct room without manual adjustments.
You are a gentleman and a scholar. I’ve been having this unbelivable slowdown for so long and have not taken the time to investigate, but wow, what an easy fix.
Haha, thanks. Glad I could help. Also did a lot time searching for the solution.
