Google Home cast - no background image

Hi there,

I’m having a play with casting my Lovelace interface to Google Home. Everything seems to work except the background image.

Is this a known limitation?

I’m also having this problem. Just get a white background on chromecast.

I am experiencing this same issue. The background shows correctly on the web and ios app, but the service cast.show_lovelace_view just shows a white background. Same behavior on Chromecast with Google TV and Chromecast Ultra.

I have looked at some other options such as CATT or Resting-CATT, but there seems to be some limitations so I have decided not to pursue that option.

Hey, just wondering if you had any progress solving this? Even a black/grey background would be preferred if possible.
