Google Home Device - Emulated Hue

Hi,
Have gone through lots of forum posts on this and can’t seem to get it to work.

I am running the lastest Hassio on Raspberry pi
I have a Google Home Device - Physical.
I have an IPhone, no Android devices in the house
I have Google Home successfully controlling my Wemo Lights directly, this was set up using the Google Home App on my iphone.
Hassio is running fine, can control wemo lights and some SonOff switches and reads various sensors I have such as RIng and some DIY MQTT temp/motion sensors
I have Broadlink remote control controlling some stuff and also have a couple of DIY Mqtt based switches for Aircon, irrigation etc. These are all working under Hassio
I want everything to be controlled through Google Home device.

I have added the following to my config. yaml
emulated_hue:

I hit my hassio url

I go to my Google home app on iPhone and click on device and home control. The wemo lights are there, but nothing else. I click the + to add and select Phillips Hue. I have created an account, I then get a response saying push button on Hue Bridge, which I don’t have.
What have I done wrong, what steps am I missing.

I have tried asking Google Home to turn on Sonoff Switches using the name in Hassio, but it does not recognise them.

I purchase the Google home about 1 month ago, so installed the app on my phone then, so I assume it is the newer app that some posters have mentioned. I am in Australia, and Google home only got officially released here about 3-4 weeks ago. s there was an update to the app for Australia
Please help.

btw: is there some Google Home component/addon for Hassio in the works?

I belive you will need a Android (you can run it on a PC) with a old APK version which won’t ask you to press said button on the Hue and will connect and sync automatically, after that you can forget again Android and go back to the rotten apple (jk :smiley: ) and enjoy controlling everything on Hassio with Google Assistant :sunglasses:
