Google Home - Turn off the lights vs Turn the lights off

I’ve got home assistant exposed to google via nabu casa. I used to be able to say “Turn off the lights” and google would turn off the lights in whatever room applied but now if I ask it to turn off the lights it will show the loading dots animation before stopping and doing nothing. The work around for this is to use the phrase “Turn the lights off”.

Ive also setup home assistant at my girlfriends place however devices are exposed via the manual google assistant setup. Her setup works with the classic “Turn off the lights” without issue

Is anyone else having these issues?
Could this be because of a bug with the nabu casa implementation or is this a google problem?

I don’t see how it could be related to nabu casa if other phrases work. Voice assistants handle the phrase parsing and api calls.
