With the new cast interafce the google nest hub becomes interesting.
So far I have stayed away from everything alexa or google because of privacy concerns but now it seems possible to use the google nest hub as a touch screen - and only as a touchscreen.
I mean you cna use a tbalet but those things are not meant to be powered constantly also the form factor does not work well on a shelf.
Has anyone had some experience with this yet? can you dim / switch off the screen for example via home-assisant? will the screen turn on when a cast is started?
does it turn the screen off, after some inactivity?
How does it work with the mic/camera disabled?
