Google Nest Speaker - Polling every 4 minutes to keep it alive

Hi,

Apparently, Google disconnects the speakers every 4 minutes or so unless there is some sound playing on them. Once disconnected, it takes too long to wake them up for a message to be sent using HA.

I recently switched from Hubitat and although it is less flexible, it had a Google Cast Helper which was polling Google every 4 minutes to keep the speakers alive and always ready. I believe they have even integrated this into the Core Hubitat OS.

Is there no such thing in HA? I have seen some workarounds trying to send MP3 which have no sound just to fake this connection, however, it also causes any music playing to fail.

Any clues how to best solve t his issue?
