Trying to figure out if there is going to be any way to integrate our Nest thermostat/Google Nest into HA. I know the Works with Nest program stopped accepting new developer accounts, and I have migrated it to a Google Home account (didn’t seem like not migrating long term was likely to work out).
I would like to integrate this with HomeAssistant so that we can have climate control along with everything else. Has anyone been able to work this out since all of the changes?
If there is a way where this is possible (without waiting until late 2020 based on Googles blog posts), I would be thrilled and would keep the Nest Thermostat.
Otherwise, which thermostat are people using (US) and integrating with HA.
Requirements:
Prefer Wifi over Zigbee/Zwave (don’t need another hub)
Must be configurable with PC/Android NOT MAC/IOS (tried Radio Thermostat=failure)
Using Home Assistant 0.102.3 running on rPi3b+
