I use my google pods and Alexa pods located all over my house for voice commands to control switches. How can I integrate them into HA or is there an alternate ways to do this? I would like to still use voice commands.
The simplest way is to take out a Home Assistant Cloud subscription. This will allow you to expose any/all of your HA devices to Alexa and Google with minimum fuss.
