I was using Google speak service earlier to announce washing machine ending or announcing doorbell ringing

But I then changed my internet provider, and I reset all devices that I can think of, but now I cannot use the speak service. Running the task gives pauses any music playing on the HomePod, but no announcement , and pop up says ERROR RUNNING ACTION - Unknown error

Could be a lot of things, but a lot of issues come from using different SSL certificates on Google Home devices.

Without knowing exactly what the error is it will be hard to narrow it down. I would start with blocking Google DNS and using something else.
