Google Tasks integration fails at the last loading screen

Goal: Integrate “Google Tasks” as integration.

Issue: At the last step of the integration manual, instead of showing a success screen, an error is shown. “Unexpected error”

I followed the official setup guide with a fresh project in the Google Developer Console: Google Tasks - Home Assistant

Installation: Via .vdi image (haos_ova-12.4.vdi) in VirtualBox in Windows10.
Uses Wifi for Internet.

Versions:

  • Core 2024.8.0
  • Supervisor 2024.08.0
  • Operating System 12.4
  • Frontend 20240806.1
  • VirtualBox 7.0.20 r163906 (Qt5.15.2) (with ExtensionPack Version 7.0.20r163906)

Adding the integration worked successfully today. Couldn’t figure out why, since I didn’t do any HA update inbetween.
