I have had Roku TVs for my entire home assistant journey, and use IP Cam Viewer to view my cameras on my tv directly and in my screen saver. I just bought a google tv system and was curious if there is a similar app like IP cam viewer.
I use VLC app on the CCWGTV and then use the HA android TV addon to call the VLC app and the RTSP stream.
Dont think you can do this in place of the screen saver, at least not that I have ever seen anyway.
Thanks. I found an app for google called the same…IP Cam Viewer. Sees the cameras separately, but doesn’t work multi view. That is horrible that I can’t use it as a screen saver. I wonder if HA can push the stream if google is on “ambient mode”.
