sudo configure-driver sh
sudo install-alsa-config sh
first three line works as expected configure driver did not tried with and without Sudo change directory to scripts where the the scripts are actually stored
but always get same result
“-ash: sudo: not found”
not always sudo, would be whatever the first word typed in the command line
Is it possible to get Voice Hat working on the same Rpi as Hassio is installed on?
PS don’t want Google to work just the hardware and use it for SnipsAI
I’m in the same spot. I built the AIY voice kit. Found it interesting, but not excited about Google being connected to my house like that. Put Hassio on the pi, and now would like to get the speaker, mic, and button connected to Snips. But everything I’ve found for AIY drivers requires Raspbian. I’d rather not have to go back since most of the development going on now is through Hassio.
I was able to use the following installer for AIY drivers on a raspbian device that’s running Rhasspy https://github.com/shivasiddharth/GassistPi but I haven’t been able to get them to work on hassio. The dev is open to supporting hassio images if there’s enough interest.
Has there been any progress getting the AIY Voice Hat to wort in hassos? I’d like to get the Pi 4 I’m using for Home Assistant to be an assist microphone for Wyoming Protocol. Having the speaker would be a bonus.
