Govee_ble_lights - GONE

Very disappointed to see govee_ble_lights Github repository has been deleted and we are now left with no working solution, considering this is part of the integration of Home Assistant.

The Govee Lights integration has stopped finding the lights.

### The problem For almost a year, the integration with my 3 Govee light strips… worked without any problems. For about two months now, they haven't been showing up. I finally had some time to look into it, but unfortunately, I'm stuck. The Govee strips are on the same VLAN as Home Assistant. There are no blocking firewall rules between them, but when I restart the integration and search for devices, I immediately get the message "No devices found on the network" – the same applies to Bluetooth. However, several HACS integrations find the devices without any problems. ### What version of Home Assistant Core has the issue? core-2025.11.0 ### What was the last working version of Home Assistant Core? _No response_ ### What type of installation are you running? This doesn't work anymore, and nobody knows why.

I am sorry, but simply put, this does not work anymore. At some point last year,… Home Assistant received an update which seems to have killed this integration for everyone, and possibly other integrations related to Govee. I do not wish to put blame, the actual cause has yet to be identified, but dozens of users report the integration failing during this time frame from *something*. As I am not the original developer, and am pretty clueless about the actual connection involved between the lights and HA, I cannot help further in developing this without external help. Furthermore, I only care about BLE connection, and not using the lights through the external API. I will probably be looking for other lights to use with HA. If you wish to actually discuss a fix and maintain this code, please feel free to open an issue or a pull request. Otherwise, I will be keeping this for prosperity, as the original developer deleted his repository. See: https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/155932#issuecomment-3770271230

Can someone else take over the repository so we can contribute to it?
