I wanted to share that the Govee H1310 works in Home Assistant using Matter only. To get it to connect, you must check the “Enable test-net DCL usage” box in the Matter App configuration tab.
Once connected, you just have to use the presets for the fan levels. I also got the different color lights working and the dimming features functional. I wasn’t aware all of this was working properly, so I wanted to let everyone know.
I just got my H1310 delivered and installed a few days ago. I’ve discovered it also works in govee2mqtt. You get much more granular control, though, it’s not the most intuitive interface in the world and the states don’t seem to get updated unless you set them in HA. I’m still trying to figure out a decent way to apply the effects/scenes available in the govee app from HA.
edit: I’m using the matter integration also and the fan controls are better with that fan entity. If all you want to do is set the same color to both top and bottom lights, then the matter integration is all you need. Likely will need some API inspection and usage to get full control via the LAN API.
