Govee Lights Local Integration

I have just started to use Govee Lights inside home assistant.

I am currently using the Govee integration in HACS which uses MQTT. This has been working fine but i have just installed a new light (H7063) and it can see the light but i have no controls for it just the diagnostic information.

But i now see that there is a official Govee Lights Local integration but this does not appear when i search for it in the integration list.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Same issue here. I am assuming if you have the HACS version it causes the official LAN version to not show. One of my lights dont support LAN so I am sticking with HACS

What version of HA are you using?

This is what shows up on my system when I search for “govee” and click the “Govee” search result. (I don’t have any Govee lights and don’t have any Govee HACS integration.)

It’s not an integration nor does it have anything to do with HACS, it’s an add-on.

And yeah, with the add-on running, the native local integration won’t work. Stop the Govee to MQTT Bridge add-on and you should be able to use the native local integration. Obviously each device will be different, but at least for the few I have the MQTT add-on works dramatically better/is more full-featured.

Thanks. I have had a play about and and turning off and on the add-on has made the lights appear in MQTT now.
