Configure the integration and lower the sync interval, some claims that it works for them
Lots of views here, but not a lot of advice. Seems like Govee has some work to do if they intend for their devices to be used on Home Assistant.
I run into this constantly. Today I bumped the polling rate to 30, so waiting to see if that helps.
Govee devices support local lan. Is there anyway of having HA use that instead of reaching out to use the API?
The rate limit issue started really annoying me when I wanted to hook up my lights to a switch for additional features.
Looking around I came across this

Seem like a MUCH better option for the hour I have been playing with it. The only video I found on YouTube I had to translate with captions.

OMG, I’m losing my mind here… I hope you can help! Where are you able to change the Govee polling interval? I don’t have any ‘configure’ option under settings-integrations.
I have 8 govee sensors that are getting their batteries drained…
Thanks for your help!
Did you find a solution? I increased the poll rate from 10 to 60 for 3 bulbs but I don’t know how long it takes to reset so I can try it.
