Govee2mqtt stopped working and I can't reinstall

Yesterday, after months of working without a problem, my two govee light bulbs disappeared from HA. I tried clicking on the fix it option on the message that told me there was an mqtt bit that couldn’t start ( sadly I’ve tried so many things since, i can’t remember the error). The message came back it was fixed, but it wasn’t.

Lots of googling later and nothing helped so i thought I’d delete everything govee related and reinstall the govee2mqtt integration. When i try i get the following error:

Failed to install add-on

Can’t install ghcr.io/wez/govee2mqtt-aarch64:2025.04.13-17d43d72: 500 Server Error for http+docker://localhost/v1.51/images/ghcr.io/wez/govee2mqtt-aarch64:2025.04.13-17d43d72/json: Internal Server Error (“layer does not exist”)

I have no idea what that’s telling me. I run HA on a pi 4. Claude tells me there could be a port conflict, but i don’t know how to find out or fix it if there is.

I have several other devices happily using mqtt.

Can anyone provide an understandable explanation of the error and suggest solutions?

Thanks for your time.

Andy
