Grafana add-on - How to filter out spikes/peaks

Hi all,

I have my power production displayed in Grafana. I have a device (probably a water boiler) which dirties my graph. I have googled and searched but not found an answer, maybe I have searched wrong. But I could use some direction on how to filter (in Grafana) out these spikes:

(ps I also asked the grafana forum, but there are other equal questions unanswered and not so much new info)

Create a new filtered entity:

Or in grafana you can group your measurements by time (e.g. 1h) and select the mean value. This will probably not work as well as using the filter(s) in Home Assistant to reject the spikes.

Thanks! Will try…

Are you using influxdb2 to store the data? If so in grafana you can create a second influxdb query using the movingaverage function.

I use the influxdb addon, not sure how to see if it is version 2.

The addon is still is still on 1.xx so I’m not sure if this is possible. I was using the addon but switched to standalone v2 due to some limitations of the addon for me.
