Hi everyone! :waving_hand: I hope you’re all doing well!

I’m the creator of the Graphite theme, and I’m excited to finally introduce it to the HA community.

A while back in 2022, I made my private Home Assistant theme public, but never shared it here, something I’ve always meant to do.

Features

  • Flexible light and dark modes: You can use it as an automatic theme that adjusts to your system settings, or pick dedicated light or dark modes for full control.
  • Consistent design: I aim for a polished and professional look across all parts of your home assistant interface.
  • Custom primary color: You can set a color that matches your style and make it yours.

I use this theme daily on a dedicated wall tablet as well as on Android, Windows, macOS, and iOS devices. To ensure everything works seamlessly across platforms, I regularly maintain the theme and utilize a small abstraction layer to avoid consistency issues across the variants.

The GitHub HA community has already contributed many amazing ideas over the years, and I’d love to hear your thoughts if you check it out! :blush:

This is a very clean theme and i think it may replace meterial for me. The patcher is a nice touch so big thank you as i need purple highlights aha.

I love this theme. Used it for a while.

Tho I like the minimalist approach I recently did a small addition. Maybe someone else will like and use it. :slight_smile:

in the graphite.yaml file add the below code right after card-mod-theme: Graphite

Anyone have a darker mode template they are willing to share?

Maybe it was already suggested,if yes, excuse my ignorance, but I recently purchased a seedstudio Eink display, which I am using to display a “static” home assistant dashboard. Currrently the best fit is Graphite Bright theme, but this also results in lots of dithering. Maybe in the future it would be nice to have a theme that uses the very same color palette as the reTerminal 1002, 1004 uses ?
