I believe it would be possible to investigate further using Wireshark and discover additional parameters.
Hi guys, can someone share Modbus protocol for Gree Versati IV? I made device described above, everything works except important register 117 - current state of heat pump. Instead of values 1,2,6,8 this register generates numbers from 90 to 140 and I cannot bind these numbers to current state of heatpump. Neither bit analysis nor statistical analysis don’t help - looks like this register stores something completely different and unit status was moved to another register, and the question - which one 
You have typo in versati_117_unit_status_number definition. Address should be 0x75 or 117. 0x76=118. I have Bergen too and copy/pasted this config. Spent hours to find out problem. Put here for history if someone will google same as me and make same mistake.
