I’ve got a Greenwave Powernode 6 power strip. The switches are working fine, but the energy usage (“Electric Consumption [W]”) doesn’t update automatically. It only works when I press Refresh in the ZWaveJS2MQTT interface.
I can set the “Min. variation of load current” (0-100, default 10), but it isn’t clear to me what it means (absolute or relative value? Why max 100 and why no decimals?) and it doesn’t make a difference.
I’ve tried to use Automations to update the values, but that doesn’t work.
Any idea how I can make this work?
I solved this by polling energy usage: ZwaveJS2Mqtt.
But I still like to understand what ‘Min. variation of load current’ means.
i was looking to make it more quiet in reporting power usage fluctuations so i ran into your topic. For anyone looking at this too at any time: The number is a percentage (hence the 0 and 100 range)\
Parameter 0: Min. variation of load current
Minimum variation in load current before a message is sent. Value in percent (30 => 30%) Values in the range 0 to 100 may be set.
The manufacturer defined default value is 0
.
This parameter has the configuration ID config_0_1
and is of type INTEGER
.
