Grid Connect appliances etc in Australia

I’m new here

I’ve done some searching regarding the Grid Connect stuff that we can buy here in Australia and it’s use with Home Assistant. It seems that most have had good success with flashing the units.

Does anyone have any experience/feedback with regards to the Hub that they sell which allows for the use of their motion detectors, window/door sensors and some other things? It appears that these additional units communicate using Bluetooth with the Hub. So far I’ve been able to connect all my wifi Grid Connect stuff using the Smart Life/Tuya app but I haven’t yet been able to do the same with the Hub, and I was just hoping that maybe someone here has had any success?

Australia - Electrically Certified Hardware

Hi, Anyone know of any electrically safe Australian legally certified wireless switches (in-line like Sonoff) or physical wireless light switches, wireless wall socket etc that work with HomeAssistant, Broadlink RM etc? If so it would be great to get a list going, include specifications, the wireless tech it uses for example Wifi, RF etc, max load etc Thanks

You can search that thread for GRID stuff. Most can’t be flashed now due to TUYA firmware updates.
