Hi all, just wanted to pass along a new app/project/github repository that has recently come onto Fdroid. KitchenOwl. I’ve been using it for a few days and it’s great thus far. My main use is to be able to create custom categories and order them in the order I walk through my grocery store.
It’s self-hosted, has Android and IOS(TestFlight) app along with a web server. The app sync’s super quickly with all devices and has offline support in case your store doesn’t have service.
The grocery list in HA is pretty feature-lean, which prompted me to go searching for something better.
The app/web server has API support, but I don’t think there’s much in the way of documentation at this point.
I’m not a developer so I can’t help the project in that way, so I wanted to share it here.
