I have a thermal camera which I can stream using Gstreamer and view on my Mac, but I am unsure how to view this in HA as a camera. Does anyone have experience with Gstreamer and HA?

Generic camera might work with ffmpeg. I got mine just to analyze the web page that respond the camera. Unfortunately they’re pretty slow.
So it would be necessary to test if they can work with VLC or ffmpeg -i link .
