GUI not reachable anymore, HA still running

Hello,

I’ve configured my Home Assistant with DuckDNS which has always worked well until a month ago, I could not connect to the GUI anymore (it says the classic: “Unable to connect to Home Assistant. Retrying in 49 seconds…”). I guess HA is still running because I can still login with commandline interface but how can I check what is going on? Loggin in with my local IP does also not work because the moment I configured the DuckDNS address, I could only log in with the public URL but no longer with the local IP adress.

Anyone could show me how I can check what the problem is?

Thx!

You now need to use https for the local URL, not http.

You will also have to agree to adding a security exception in your web browser as the security certificate is for the DuckDNS domain, not your mDNS name (e.g. homeassitant.local) and the certificates also can not be used for ip addresses.

Hello Tom, thank you, now I succeeded to login locally. Thanks so much!
