Ever since, I believe, Home Assistant version 72, or possible 73, I have run into issues with HA being able to read the status of Kasa Smart Bulbs (TP-Link). After restarting HA, I am able to turn a light on, but the status immediately returns to off. Since HA thinks the light is now off, I cannot actually turn it off. So right now I have rolled back to Version 71.0 which does not exhibit this problem. Has anyone else seen issues in this area?
i’ve had the same issue myself. I have an automation trigger the bulb @ sunset and have to go into Kasa app to turn light off.
Just did a quick test and it appears to have been fixed on the latest version 74.0
yeah, verified that as well. Thanks for the heads up!
