Since a few days, I think after upgrading to HA 87.1, my home-assistant_v2.db file has returned… Using MariaDB, which supposedly connects correctly, i see the file popup again, and growing steadily and fast. along are the 2 she and wal files:
both of which were gone too. Which was the whole point of using MariaDB, taking it easy on the write process of the SD card.
What could be happening here? Has the connection to the external DB changed from 87.1 upwards? Didn’t find a braking change in the release notes.
