About 3 weeks ago, I think after I did an upgrade, HA notified me that it discovered a new HomeKit integration. When I go to the Integrations page, it lists “HomeKit Accessory: Living Room” under Discovered and I can either Configure or Ignore. If I click Configure, it asks me for the HomeKit pairing code. Since I have no idea what device it sees, I can’t put anything there. I was hoping maybe the log would have some sort of device identifier that would give me a hint but I don’t see anything. The only thing I can think of is that around the time I saw this, I replaced my Nest (which was not connected to HA) with an Ecobee. I manually configured the Ecobee in my configuration.yaml file so maybe it’s seeing it twice? The other reason why I think it might be the Ecobee is because it’s named “Living Room” and the only other device I have that has “Living Room” in the name is my Lutron Caseta dimmer (which is named “living_room_lights”.
Thoughts? Is it safe to just Ignore this discovery? Or is there a way to find more information about what it’s discovering? Thanks!
