I have a Node-RED automation listening for an HA automation.
I manually run the automation in HA to test and it works and runs the Node-RED flow. But when the HA automation triggers on it own, the Node-RED flow doesn’t run.
What’s the difference?
You probably want to listen for the "automation_triggered event not the call service event

Ran the dishes this evening and Node-RED never ran. The HA automation was triggered, not the NR.
Ran the HA one manually and the NR one ran.
It seems to be working now. I happened to do a restart earlier and saw the alert pop up on my Magic Mirror. Thanks again for the help.
