HA Connect ZBT-1 Firmware Issue

I’m running into the error when trying to upgrade the firmware and now when re-configuring the ZBT-1:
“The serial port is locked by another application”

However, I can’t find any other applications using /ttyUSB0

I’m running HA on a rpi3

You can’t upgrade the firmware while ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT is running. Disable them, then update firmware.

I was able to solve this by reflashing the dongle using this: Home Assistant Connect ZBT-1

Thanks @francisp ! I had to go to Add-ons > Zigbee2MQTT and then hit the stop button / text there. After doing that I could update the ZBT-1 without problems. Then hit the start button in Add-ons > Zigbee2MQTT and everything was working again as it should. :slight_smile: (I thought I’d just add this step-by-step instruction for disoriented beginners such as me…)
