Alexa has a speaker in it, right. I want HA to make Alexa do some skills instead of just the other way around. I have an alarm clock setup in HA and AD. Right now my alarm clock turns on the lights in the room. I want that alarm clock to also make Alexa start playing my pandora wakeup playlist for example or start giving me my morning flash briefing.
This is currently not possible due to limitations with Alexa. There has been some speculation that Google will add push functionality at some point and I am sure HA will support it when it arrives.
