Well, like the headline says.
I had a hell of a time upgrading to and from HA Core 2024.1.2.
My solution:
1.) Disable WireGuard client (Uncheck “Start on boot”)
2.) Reboot system
3.) Update your system
4.) Re-activate WireGuard as desired

I was having trouble updating from 2024.1.2 to the newer releases. I don’t use WireGuard but after disabling several addons (and “Start on boot”) I finally was able to update.
