HA (Docker install) not starting up

I’m in the process of moving my HA instance to a new server, and I’ve restored the data from a back-up from the working instance.

Starting the the restored HA instance up on the new server, I get all kinds of connectionsError’s in the log and the bootstrap process seems to take forever. All of the cloud connected services fails nad and in settings / Home Assistance Cloud, I see a “Not Connected” status.

I’ve restarted the old instance and it immediately reconnected to the Home Assistance Cloud and started everything up.

I’m running HA in a Docker container.
I did turn off IPv6, but that did not make a difference.
Help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bjarne

Ignore this. It’s embarrassing to admit that every error I described above was caused by not having a nameserver (DNS) in my network configuration.

So, in the words of Jeff Geerling, it was DNS
