HA Energy "negative energy" where from?

I’m sure there is some PEBKAS at play, but appreciate the support from the community to smartify me…

Preparing for solar, I’ve installed an energy smart meter reader (Hichi using Tasmota) reading my energy meter consumption. That also, as the handymen ask for exact data consumption data :face_with_peeking_eye:

Now after the first night with the initial data, one big surprise:

Electric usage (below) shows more or less and expected night. But the Individual Devices Detail Usage :scream: That one shows a “negative” (untracked) consumption. And between 4:00 and 5:00 not just a bit, but 610 Wh (0.61 kWh). I do not yet have any “electricity producer” (yet), solar PV is just “a dream”.

So to the crowd-experience: Any ideas, what causes a “negative” energy flow on the house power pre-solar? I’ve not yet added the power-out to the energy dashboard, as I didn’t expect any such energy-flow to the grid…?

From the Tasmota interface:

ESP32C3
Tasmota
MT175 E_in 13900.0 kWh
MT175 E_out 0.0 kWh

Your meter is reporting kWh without decimals but your devices do. The devices graph adjusts the sum of the bars to match the electricity used values.
You need to get the pin for your smart meter and enable the Info setting. Then normally they report more granular

Thanks. I thought it would show decimals (showed ,0). Also recognized that it only reported full kW-changes. So entered the PIN, no more “negative” offset now and incoming data on the other sensors. Thanks for the info!!
