HA file system repetition (endlessly)

Hi,

I am running HA core (core-2021.5.3) on Synology DS818+ and HA supervised version (supervisor-2021.04.3) inside Synology Docker

When using VSCode I noticed that within the main CONFIG folder I have another CONFIG folder but with a twisted arrow next to it. Inside the later folder all HA folders and files are mirrored there with the same content. Furthermore, inside the later there is another CONFIG folder in which the same goes on endlessly!!!

Any idea why is this happening? Is this normal? And if not, how can I fix this?

I believe the icon (the arrow) that you’re seeing is the symlink icon from Visual Studio Code.
This basically means that somehow a symbolic link has been created to the config folder, inside the config folder itself.

You might want to take a backup of your structure, just to be sure, but it should be safe to delete the first recursion (so the first config inside the main config folder).

I did wxactly as you said and restarted HA, all seems normal. Thank you :slight_smile:
