I have a stock HA Green recently purchased, and when do su/apk upgrade it downloads and installs a few items, then it seems happy as another apk upgrade finds nothing more to do.
When I reboot the HA Green box, it reverts any apk upgrades that I did, and wants to do them over again, if asked apk upgrade.
What am I doing wrong that these upgrades won’t hold after a reboot?
Do I need to do a flash update? Am I booting off the wrong device??
I have found that my HA Green has two copies of Alpine Linux: 3.19 is installed and is what is accessed via the terminal/SSH, while 3.20 is installed and access via shell commands from within HA. I don’t know why this is that case, but presume the 3.20 is a docker version associated with HA. And the good news is that the 3.20 appears to be up-to-date regarding apk upgrade. Still, it is disconcerting to have two different versions running and the apk upgrade to the 3.19 does not take past reboot of the HA Green machine. I have yet to see if upgrades to the 3.20 (docker) part take since that seems up to date for now.
