Hello Team,

Below is a successful execution of the PV plus Battery Storage system, with Home Assistant as automated manager.

System specs:
7KW PV array, two strings
2 x SUN-8K-SG05LP1-AU DEYE aka SunSynk
105kWh battery array. 21 x 5kWh modules
Home Assistant Green
Load - private house, 2 x EV’s
Grid - connected

Suppliers:
PV - generic install, 7 years old.
SUN-8K-SG05LP1-AU - www.solarwyse.com.au
HA Green - ozsmartthings.com.au
Battery (China) - China made Battery - Energy Storage Systems manufactured in China.

System goals:
Evaluate financial/technical feasibility of energy independence concept, with mid/small PV, on mid/high power consumption house with 2 x EV’s.

Good for you it’s working… Why aren’t you sharing how you did it though?

This is Add-on I use. Just install and fill in inverter configuration. It connects and allows you to control it.
This works with DEYE inverters and SunSynk invertes.

Sad to see no replies in this topic anymore. If people would share their configurations the steep curve to set up and get EMHASS working would hopefully become more shallow. .
