HA Green - not able to connect

I have plugged in my HA green; yellow and green lights are blinking. No SD card installed yet.
I am not able to connect to any of the below urls. Any suggestions on what to do?

  1. http://192.168.0.1:8123/
  2. http://192.168.0.242:8123/
  3. homeassistant.local.8123
  4. homeassistant.local:4357

I can see the HA green in my router.

where the ip come from?
the fit to your network?
are they from a dhcp server?

http://192.168.0.1 <= this is the IP I use to log in to my router.

http://192.168.0.242 <= this is the IP I see inside my router next to the home assistant as connected devices.

bassics, but are you able to ping it
ping 192.168.0.1
ping 192.168.0.242
?

Why would you expect your router to be running home assistant?

Ping works for 192.168.0.1. But timeouts for 192.168.0.242

Maybe the green has another IP address after reboot?

I think I am good for now. I have been using a macbook and apparantly it wont work from chrome but worked fine when I tried it on safari.
http://homeassistant.local:8123/ works on safari. So, I guess I can make do :slight_smile:

I have bought a home assistant green, I can ping the IP address

192.168.1.10 but when Im trying to connect:

192.168.1.10:8123 I always get the error DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN. I have checked this with an external tool and the adress is not valid. Tried as well from PC and iPhones and never been able to reach the server/UI of home assistant green. Firewall switched off, all on the same network. Philips hue is running over LAN, Apple TV and Homepod over Wifi. I dont know how to get the green running.
