Hi all,
I would like to install HA to my old Rpi 2 for testing purposes. Apparently Home Assistant has removed the image from Installing Home Assistant OS. Where can I find it?
Thank you for help.
Hi all,
I would like to install HA to my old Rpi 2 for testing purposes. Apparently Home Assistant has removed the image from Installing Home Assistant OS. Where can I find it?
Thank you for help.
it is still here :
https://github.com/home-assistant/operating-system/releases/download/4.20/hassos_rpi2-4.20.img.gz
or
https://github.com/home-assistant/operating-system/releases/download/5.7/hassos_rpi2-5.7.img.xz
Has anyone had luck with these images since this post?
Hi,
yes, it works!
you can use es well:
https://github.com/home-assistant/operating-system/releases/download/7.2/haos_rpi2-7.2.img.xz
e.g. unzip → write the image with win32 Disk image to your SD card
Hi,
I´m testing with my rasp2 and it´s working… but,
what is the username and password for this img?
You should get an onboarding screen where you create a username and password.
Thank you very much friend!
Hi, I tried all of those images and none of them seem to work. my raspi just doesnt boot.
here’s what i did:
the raspberry boots just fine when I select the generic image in the raspberry pi imager.
any help is much appreciated!
thanks
lukas
EDIT: silly me, just realised that I have a “Rasperry Pi B+ V1.2” downloading the correct image (haos_rpi-6.0.img.xz) solved the problem
I just download https://github.com/home-assistant/operating-system/releases/download/13.1/haos_rpi2-13.1.img.xz and it works on my Raspi 2
Method: go to Releases · home-assistant/operating-system · GitHub and click ok “Show all 46 assets” (where that number 46 might change with other releases)
