Hello
Today I run home assistant on a Pi4
but will transfer everything to another slightly more powerful pi
what’s the easiest way to do it, get everything working then, is backup enough, how does this affect the Ziggbe and Z-wave dongles?
Make a backup, copy it off the device, install HA on the new Pi, restore backup, move your dongles.

If it’s the same generation of rPi but just more memory (i.e., rPi 4GB to rPi 8GB) you can likely just move the SD/SSD over to the new board.
If you do the backup - restore thing, then remember to reboot once the restore have finished.
thanks for all the answers, but as earlier wrote, if it’s the same, for example pi4, it’s enough to move over the sd card, it’s the same pi fixed with more ram to be moved to, so both so both are pi 4, won’t come across other problems, for example with the usb dongles?
Only if they get assigned a different device name
