Ha, nodered, and nabu casa

Hi, I have home assistant with nodered on rp4, and signed up for the nabu casa cloud access.
I can reach my local nodered with

http://ha4.local:8123/hassio/ingress/a0d7b954_nodered
and
http://ha4.local:1880/endpoint/ui

… and using nabu casa, the editing interface works with

https://yfon65…ui.nabu.casa/a0d7b954_nodered/dashboard

but when I try to access the actual dashboad, it gives me this link, which fails … no respone

http://yfon65…ui.nabu.casa:1880/endpoint/ui

Do I have to open up port 1880 on the router, or is there an endpoint to access nodered without that?

Did you figure this out?

Assuming you are running HAOS, HA ingress should solve this for you.
Rather than navigating to to node red via ip:port, open the ui via the addon configuration in HA.

I do not see a lot about this. Is there a main site to read up on this and how it is used today?

Edit: I don’t think I need this so I won’t be trying to figure this out. I was trying to get smartthings working in Node-RED in HA. I was over-complicating this and now I realize I just need to use the sensors that I have in HA already.

Thanks
