HA Noob question - Supervisor

Good morning,
I’m just getting started with Home Assistant after using a Vera Plus for 7 plus years. I installed HA on a Raspberry Pi 4 4GB with a 256 GB SSD drive using the Raspberry Pi Imager with the following selection method:

Other specific-purpose OS → Home assistants and home automation → Home Assistant → Home Assistant OS 9.0 (RPI 4/400)

Everything went fine, and I booted up fairly quickly.

So, I’ve been configuring some integrations, using various YouTube walkthroughs as well as integration specific documentation. My confusion is that often the directions will tell me to go to “Supervisor”. I don’t have that sort of entry on my sidebar. At the bottom of the side bar, I have Developer Tools, Settings, Notifications, and my name.

Am I missing something, or is Supervisor specific to other installation methods?

Home Assistant’s main menu was reorganized and various individual menu items are now in different locations or even divided into multiple new locations.

Your installation of Home Assistant includes Supervisor.

Okay, thank you. I thought that might be it, but wanted to ask, just in case I missed something.

One of the main things displayed by the old Supervisor menu was a list of installed Add-ons and a means of browsing the Add-ons store to install more Add-ons. The new menu location is Settings > Add-ons.
