HA not starting after update to 3.7.1

Hi there,

I just did an update from 3.6.1 to 3.7.1 and HA is not starting up. After a reboot of the RPi2 the user hass is stuck in command cc1, whatever this means - see:

There is no new log - just nothing. :frowning:

Before the reboot I deleted the db file, to start with a fresh one.

Would appreciate to get some help here! Thanks!

It can take some time after an update. What does your journalctl -f say?

OK! True - now, 35 minutes later its up and running! :astonished:

Sorry for the false alarm, it never took that long on the updates before - max 5-10mins and now, after 20 minutes I got cold feed. Especially because command cc1 didn’t ring any bell for me.

That interesting because it took 40 minutes on my Model 1 B+. I had assumed that it would be much quicker on a 2 or 3. Maybe I won’t upgrade after all.

I recall having read somewhere that all dependencies are deleted and reinstalled on each upgrade. So if you’re using a lot of components it might take some time to do an update. I normally watch the log file when updating so that I can keep track on what’s going on, thus making sure nothing unexpected has occurred.
