Is there a limit or a quota on how much storage is assigned per addon please?
Currently exploring potential with RPI 4B and SD only. Considering to purchase large SSD to fully utilise NextCloud, Frigate, etc.
Any special config required regarding allocated disk space?
Other than that, HA OS makes everything very simple and convenient.

This is a known restriction of the addon, it is difficult to add an extra drive for addons to use. If you want to use HA OS the easiest way will just be run everything off the SSD.

Exactly, been reading about the challenges, so figured that having a large ssd as main disk for everything is the way to do it.
Assuming that scenario, my question is whether there are any storage quotas or restrictions per addon, or any required config at all.

No, they will use what storage they can (unless the specific addon has limits / has configuration to limit)
