HA OS - Can I have multimedia stored and played through Plex

I run HA Supervised but since it is being unsupported I am think to move to OS or Container version.

Currently I have a media library stored on my Linux server on which I have HA installed, and I play the media through Plex.

Question: can this be achieved with HA OS? I am not sure I will be having access to the OS directory and how easy it is to transfer files.

Should be no issue, plex has an official addon

and HA has options to store media local (as well as remotely shared folders)
